Kevin Tacy Owner When he received his degree in marine biology from the University of New Hampshire, owning a catering business was really the last thing on his mind. But after a few post-graduate jobs and time spent in the aquaculture business, Kevin became the owner of Foster’s Downeast Clambake in 1985. |

He is a man with a ready laugh, an easy disposition and a fanatical concern for his guests’ well being. (When you hear him ask, “Are you having a good time? Is there anything you need?” he’s really not being rhetorical.)
Kevin loves to hear from past as well as future customers, so feel free to email him.
Fosters owes so much of it's success to the hard work of our amazing staff. Their dedication to our guests is truly remarkable and comes from the pride they take in their jobs. In all of the thank you letters we receive, we read as many wonderful compliments on our staff as we do our food.

Working at Foster’s has become a mark of distinction, creating an exclusive club that bonds generations of young adults. From the kids who are working there first summer jobs to the “veteran clambakers” who come back every season like clockwork, our "Foster's Family" is the lifeblood of our company.
