"Foster’s definitely has the best clam chowder on land or at sea!”

It’s pretty obvious that at KPD we love collaborating with amazing vendors. When Liz & Zach said lobster bake, we said Fosters Downeast Clambake. They’re they only company we work with for lobster bakes because they’re the best. period. Case in point… three days before this wedding I called Beth at Foster’s with a bunch of new requests that I had just incorporated into a wedding the weekend before including this ridiculously popular “lemonade bar.” Basically a bartender had fresh squeezed lemonade and iced tea ready to mix with vodka and freshly muddled mint, raspberries, or blueberries, depending on what the guest ordered right then and there. No problem for Fosters to pull this one out a day or two before the wedding and look how adorable it was?! One of the most popular spots at the wedding too…

“When groups come to us and want an informal meal, we always recommend Foster’s Downeast Clambake: their clambakes served on our vessels are the perfect combination for people coming to this area and wanting a ‘Downeast’ experience. We also schedule public cruises with their clambakes as the main event. People love to put on their lobster bibs, get a little messy, and have some fun. We have always found their staff to be pleasant with our passengers and efficient in terms of prep time, meal service, and clean up. Foster’s definitely has the best clam chowder on land or at sea!”

“In August, 1998, Fosters Downeast Clambake served nearly 3,000 dinners at the ‘Second Annual Republican Lobsterbake, Honoring New Hampshire’s 1998 Republican Candidates’ Honey and I hosted at Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, NH. Foster’s was able to perform well under pressure and worked as a team with my staff. The meals were served on time, a credit to them based upon the groups’ sheer size. They streamlined the process of getting people through the lines while keeping them happy. The food was great ... the plates were full and the lobsters were big. This was an energizing, organization-building event, and Fosters Downeast Clambake played an integral part in making it a success.”

“Foster’s Downeast Clambake has been putting on a clambake for New Hampshire Good Roads Association for the past 15 years. Last year, I was unexpectedly assigned the task of planning this event, which has grown annually to an attendance of approximately 1,600 people. From the perspective of a novice in event planning, Foster’s was very helpful. They handled most of the on-site details for both the hot dog and chowder luncheon and evening clambake. Their staff set up the tables and handled all of the clean up. They are great people to work with! The event ran very smoothly. We will definitely be using Foster’s Downeast Clambake again this year!”

Whether the group includes seniors, corporate executives, or church groups, reports back to us are always positive. The service and entertainment are great; the food is always delicious and plentiful, Fosters’ pavilion facility makes the overall experience even better.
